Time: Competition 8:30am – 1:00pm
What: Please join us at the Pond for the 5th Annual LBCC Open Spey Tournament. We will have 25 casters competing in several divisions – Open, Women’s, Senior’s, and Novice.
This is a fun and friendly competition where we cheer for all the casters so come out and support our Spey community. We have over 14 LBCC members casting as well as casters from several casting clubs – Santa Clarita, Pasadena, Golden Gate, San Jose, and casters joining us from Nevada City, Seattle, Idaho, and Montana.
Whitney Gould, the #1 Women’s Spey Casting in the World, will once again be visiting and competing. Kim Lyon’s, who won 1st Place at Speyorama in 2022, will be visiting and competing. We will also have Travis Johnson visiting for the first-time giving competition lessons to some of the casters. Travis in one of the world’s best Spey casters and Spey teachers in the world of Spey casting. We are also very excited to have Mike Ivy visiting and competing!
